I have been a member of Kirby Muxloe Golf Club for many years and last year I became Ladies President. This year, I am proud to be representing the Ladies Section as their Captain.
My charity this year is the HELP Appeal who raise money for helipads for the Air Ambulance and during the year, the Ladies Section will be organising different events to raise money for them.
We have competitions on a Tuesday throughout the year and now have availability on a Sunday for Ladies that work. We also have a fantastic section for beginners, all the information is available on our website (https://www.kirbymuxloe-golf.co.uk/ladies-membership-pathway.
There are three Ladies Open competitions this year, including a fun 9 Hole Halloween Open in October, all of which we hope will be fully booked.
Hopefully, this year the weather will improve, and we will be able to enjoy some great golf. I am looking forward to coming year with the support of my Vice-Captain - Carole Platt - and the Ladies Committee.
